System design, components, installation, and maintenance all contribute to how efficiently an irrigation system applies water, but the system operator determines how much water is applied and when. Most irrigation systems are programmed to apply more water than the plant needs and at incorrect intervals. This seminar will review the steps to calculate station run time and frequency for maximum water savings and plant health.
